Vice Admiral David Architzel, U.S. Navy (Ret.) and George Bush Library Foundation CEO Fred McClure visited the West Michigan Aviation Academy to speak with students of the Academy and the Gerald R. Ford Job Corps. Center. Architzel highlighted the modern advancements of the USS Navy’s aircraft carrier fleet from the first ship to the current Ford Class of Carriers. He also provided details on the Navy’s newest ship, the USS Gerald R. Ford CVN 78. McClure spoke of the importance of using time wisely to accomplish goals before that time is lost forever. He encouraged students to make the most of opportunities provided to them through the Job Corps program and beyond.
