MUSEUM OPENING FAQ SHEET

What are the hours of the Museum?

  • The Museum is open every Thursday and Friday from 2 to 5 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 12 – 5 PM. Hours will be extended beginning August 4th. This will include Wednesday from 2 to 5 PM and extended hours on Saturdays from 10 AM to 5 PM.

How do I get Tickets?

Who do I call for Ticket issues?

  • We have established two telephone numbers to assist the public with ticketing issues. The first is our public Online Ticket Help number 301-347-8330. The second number is provided to those of the public who call our local Museum number, that number is 616-446-4482. Foundation and Security should provide the 301 number to patrons asking questions about the following.
    • How to get a refund.
    • How to change tickets from one timed block to another.
    • I did not get my email confirmation (check your spam)

Can a Paton enter the Museum at a different time than on his/her ticket?

  • No, they must enter at the time designated on their ticket. If a patron arrives at the Museum more than 30 minutes before or after their block, they may only be allowed in the building if we are below our maximum capacity. You can also refer them to the ticket help number so they can get a refund or change their ticket for a different time (if available) or a different date.

How long is the ticket good for?

  • Each timed ticket is good for two hours.

How many patrons are allowed in the Museum?

  • Our current maximum of patrons in the building is 30. This will expand to 50 on August 4th.

What kind of Parking is available?

  • Parking is available in our south lot off Pearl Street. The lot opens one hour before open and closes one hour after close at 6 PM.
  • Parking requests for parking after hours or for events in the park may be emailed to Bridget.Carrigan@nara.gov.
