Truth and Honor: The President Ford Story, written by Lindsey McDivitt, is the first-ever children’s story about President Gerald R. Ford. The book, intended for children ages 6-10, tells the story of President Ford at various stages in his life, from his early childhood years and his years at the University of Michigan, to his years in the Navy, Congress and then his presidency in the 1970s.

In this virtual book panel discussion, brought to you by The Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation, features Mike and Steve Ford, sons of President Ford and Betty Ford, candidly sharing some of their fondest childhood memories of their parents and the lessons they learned from them, and McDivitt discussing her inspiration behind Truth and Honor, and the importance of providing high quality children’s books that teach history and provide role models.
