BIOGRAPHY
Brooke Clement is the Acting Director of the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library & Museum. Before her current role, she led the Obama Presidential Library in Chicago, where she directed the archival and museum team that developed the first all-digital presidential library. She has a bachelor’s in History and American Culture from the University of Michigan, and a master’s in American Studies from Columbia University. She has worked at NARA since 2004, first at the Ford Presidential Library, then at the George H.W. Bush Library and the George W. Bush Library, where she was Supervisory Archivist. She joined the new Obama Library as Supervisory Archivist in 2016, and in 2018 was named Deputy Director. Brooke’s family is from SW Michigan, so it is a great pleasure to welcome her back to her roots in Michigan and to the Ford Presidential Library and Museum.
