BIOGRAPHY: Upon graduation from Michigan State University and Harvard Law School, where he served as an editor and officer of the Harvard Law Review for two years, Stephen C. Waterbury served as judicial clerk for U.S. District Court Judge George L. Hart, Jr. (District of Columbia). Since his time in Washington, for more than three decades Steve has practiced business law at Warner Norcross & Judd LLP in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He provides legal advice to leading Michigan-based businesses and volunteers his time and legal services to various non-profit organizations, including the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation.

Steve is actively involved in the community, and has held many volunteer leadership posts, including roles with the Grand Rapids Symphony (Chair), Association for Corporate Growth of West Michigan (President), University Club of Grand Rapids (President), Saint Andrew Cathedral Pastoral Council (Chair) and other non-profit organizations. Steve is highly engaged professionally, serving on his law firm’s Management Committee while being recognized by his peers in Best Lawyers in America, Michigan Super Lawyers and Chambers USA.
