Vaden Bales is the son-in-law of President and Mrs. Gerald R. Ford and the husband of Susan Ford Bales. Vaden is an attorney with the Riggs Abney firm in Tulsa, OK. He is a Trustee of the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation.
