Tom DeFrank

 

Tom DeFrank covered the presidency of Gerald R. Ford for Newsweek magazine. He was Newsweek’s White House correspondent for 25 years and Washington bureau chief of the New York Daily News. He was recently named National Journal’s Contributing Editor. DeFrank was an eyewitness to both assassination attempts on President Ford’s life in 1975.
