Ford Leadership Forum Launches First California Fellows Program at CSUSB Palm Desert

The Ford Fellows Program has Hit the West Coast!

We’re thrilled to announce that the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Fellows Program has officially landed in California. California State University, San Bernardino’s Palm Desert Campus is now home to the state’s very first chapter—joining just three others nationwide. This exciting program will give students hands-on leadership training, opportunities to serve the Coachella Valley, mentorship from community leaders, and the chance to carry forward President Ford’s legacy of honesty, service, and civic responsibility.

This launch is more than a milestone—it’s a movement. By partnering with CSUSB Palm Desert, the Ford Leadership Forum is creating a powerful new space where students can grow as leaders, bridge divides through civil dialogue, and make a real impact in their communities. We can’t wait to see the Fellows step up, speak out, and shine as the next generation of leaders who embody the values President Ford championed.
