Prior to the 2017 Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation Annual Dinner, Trustee Peter Secchia was honored for his support of the USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) Commissioning Ceremonies. Secchia received a maquette of Lt. Commander Gerald R. Ford designed by artist Brett Grill. An additional maquette is on display at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum, with the original, full-sized version aboard the USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78).
