113th Birthday Wreath Laying Ceremony Honoring President Gerald Ford
Susan Ford Bales hosted the annual Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Tomb of President Gerald R. Ford, commemorating the 113th anniversary of his birth.
This cherished event blended two meaningful traditions: the Presidential Wreath Laying, a national custom in which the sitting U.S. President sends a tribute wreath to honor each deceased president, and a personal tradition begun by Mrs. Betty Ford in 2007, ensuring continued remembrance through a community-focused ceremony.
