The Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation again is honored to host the annual September 11th Community Day of Remembrance / Scout Salute at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum. The events are in conjunction with the Flag Escort and Raising Ceremony.
The President Ford Council Boy Scouts of America lead the West Michigan community in a day-long Scout Salute at the Museum to pay respect to all those who died during the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. The Community Day of Remembrance has been held each year from sunrise to sunset since September 12, 2002.
