Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation Trustees welcomed Congresswoman Liz Cheney to their distinguished roster in an unanimous vote, as her father, former Vice President Dick Cheney, retired from the board on Monday after forty years of service
We were sorry to learn of the passing of Senator John Warner who devoted his life to service for the American people and as a good friend and colleague, he shared many values with President Gerald R. Ford — integrity, strength of character, and sound judgment
When confronting the crises that challenged the U.S., President Ford leaned into the Constitution, declaring, “our great Republic is a Government of laws and not of men.”
The Foundation will award two prizes, one for distinguished achievement in reporting on the presidency and another on national defense during the calendar year 2020.
